QUFC FACE-OFF

Make an ugly face. Challenge somebody to do worse.

No assigned expression. No difficulty levels. No instructions for your face. Make whatever ridiculous expression you want, capture the evidence, and dare a friend or family member to out-ugly you.

How to participate in important science

Three highly unnecessary steps.

Make any ugly face

No assigned pose. No difficulty. Your only job is to make your face behave irresponsibly.

Capture the evidence

Open the camera, commit fully to the mistake, and snap a photo you may someday deny existed.

Challenge somebody

Send your Face-Off card to a friend or family member and dare them to make an uglier one.

Your face, your terrible decisions

No prompts. That's the point.

QUFC is about creativity, comedy, and discovering what your own face is capable of. A Face-Off does not tell you what expression to make. The freedom to invent something uniquely unfortunate is the competition.

1. Make it your own.

Squint your eyes, have 5 chins, or look like somehow caught both rabies and Alzeihmers. Your only limit is your mind.

2. Overdo it.

Nothing is too extreme. Push the boundaraies and limits to their maximum. If your face hurts or feels sore, your doing it right.

3. Keep it friendly.

QUFC is about funny/ridiculous expressions, not judging anybody's normal day-to-day appearance. Challenge your family, friends, coworkers, etc..... and have fun!

Need professional guidance?

There are standards.

The official QUFC rubric judges deliberately ugly faces on realism, creativity, humor, and pure ugliness. You do not have to follow it during a private Face-Off, but excellence does appreciate standards.

Future championship material?

Think your face belongs in the QUFC?

QUFC began as a family competition, but public contests may open to willing participants in the future. Real entrants. Public voting. Real prizes. Permanent glory. Possibly even a winner interview.

Until then, Face-Off is your unofficial training arena.

A note about โ€œuglyโ€

Ridiculous expressions, not real appearances.

QUFC is about deliberately making funny, strange, exaggerated faces. It is not about judging anyone's normal appearance. The goal is creativity, comedy, and making your own face behave irresponsibly for a few seconds.
